Diagnose before adding more practice
A score is a useful diagnostic—not a judgment.
Two students can miss the same question for completely different reasons. One may not know the underlying concept. Another may know it but fail to recognize the problem type, choose an inefficient path, make an execution error, run short on time, tighten up under pressure, or use Desmos at the wrong moment. The starting point is designed to locate the first gap that is holding the student back.
Problem recognition
Can the student identify the question type and a useful first move?
Execution
Does a sound plan break down in algebra, arithmetic, notation, or checking?
Timing
Is the method accurate but too slow for the test?
Pressure
Does the student’s reasoning change when the clock or stakes feel real?

How the free starting point works

Share the current picture
Send the current score, testing timeline, areas needing help, and any useful score report, missed questions, or recent work.

Receive a personalized set
With useful evidence, Christian may choose three questions that progress from easy to medium to hard. With limited evidence, he may use up to five questions to establish a broader starting point.

Complete the set clearly
Goodnotes on iPad is preferred, but another PDF annotation app or clear photos of work completed on paper are welcome. Christian reviews the setup, choices, corrections, and reasoning—not only final answers.

Get the written assessment
Within one business day of receiving the completed work, Christian identifies the most important concept or reasoning gap and recommends what to practice next.

The free starting point stands on its own. If the assessment shows that continued structure or live instruction would help, these are the planned support paths. Final prices have not been set.
